Hello,
To make a long story short, I purchased off ebay what I thought (and was listed) to be a replacement rebuilt powerhead for a 1978 Johnson 115 V-4. The powerhead I received looked similar, but had a different bolt pattern at the base and is therefore not a fit. I'm in the process of trying to get this rectified with the balky seller, but is there any way to know what year powerhead by the numbers on the powerhead itself?
If so, I can look on the powerhead and post them and see if anyone can tell me what year the wrong powerhead is? It almost had to be an earlier 70's model, but I'd just like to know for sure what I'm dealing with and make sure I get the seller to send me a correct one.
Thanks for any replies!
