Anyone having issues with Google Chrome?

I have been using Chrome for about 3 or 4 years ... switched over from FireFox because FF seemed to slow down and give me issues. Now Chrome is doing that. Killing pages, creeping along, getting high use warnings, extensions crashing. Just a royal pain! Today I downloaded the new FF, just to see if it was the computer, or the browser ... wow! What a difference! I can't believe the speed with FF compared to Chrome. It wasn't like that several years ago. And yes, I cleared by cache, my history, I ran incognito, I was running the latest update ... nothing seemed to speed up Chrome. Guess I will be running FF for a while, unless anyone can give me a reason to go back to Chrome and a way to speed it up!

No thanks ... IE is to susceptible to attacks and hacks ... that's why I ditched it in the first place ..

IE is HUGE and a prime hack target.

I have had no issues with Chrome - used to use Firefox.

I've been using Chrome for a couple years and don't experience the problems the OP is having...... Maybe it has something to do with the OP?????:p

Hey Musky, all I know is that the 'puter is running a whole lot better now that Chrome has been deleted! We will see how long it lasts ...

I switched from FF a couple of weeks ago and am now using Palemoon, works just like FF with out the high resource issues and the slowly creeping along issues, have had no problems with it at all, in fact there was a thread about it just a couple of weeks ago.

I actually tried Chrome recently on my Linux box and removed it after a couple of days. It didn't render videos well and Adblock didn't seem to work as well as on FF.

You might also give Opera http://www.opera.com/ a try. It is very refined.

Cheers,
