FWIW, you couldnt give me a battery that is associated with JCI. Problems once, its a random occurring event. Problems twice - a coincidence? Problems with nearly every JCI battery I have ever been associated with in the past 13 years - that is just poor quality. (A little background, I used to spec out 275,000 batteries annually). in a past career we moved to enersys and east penn and the battery problems nearly went away. personnally, I head to sears and get the die hard Platinum (enersys) or the Die Hard Advanced Gold (East Penn) or to Tractor Supply for Exide[/QU
Like I said battery opinions are like 2 strokes vs 4 stroke and which oil is better. It usually ends in a closed thread!

I'm not saying Everstarts are "great" batteries, but I've never had an issue with one yet. And Walmarts prices are decent enough that one can buy another one in 3 years for 3 more yrs of fresh power. To me for what I'm spending a battery is a battery! No doubt in my mind the two or three battery manufacturers are making all batteries of cheaper quality. Always had Diehards up until 5 years ago and had the last 3 die on me early in 3 different cars. Plus as I said in an above thread that Sears customer service has gotten to be the worst depending on which store you are in. That lack of consistency will eventually force them to close their doors for good . . . Oh Well
No love lost on my end and I've been a customer for over 50 years. Lowes and HD are much better for appliances, hardware related stuff IMO.[/FONT]
