We recently purchased an '88 Celebrity with a Mercruiser AlphaOne. It's run fine until yesterday. On our way back in I cut the boat hard to the left and right to shake the kid off the tube and the engine immediately began to hesitate, like it was losing power. It ran fine at a high idle but as soon as I gassed it, it would stutter. I'm thinking some gunk out of the tank got into the fuel filter...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
