1979 chrysler 70 hp pistons

I am trying to find out if pistons ar intrchageable. I have a piston out of a 1979 chrysler skier 70 hp model t700h9a. Will a piston from a 1979 chrysler skier 70 hp , model 709h9a work in the 700h9a. I was on line yesterday and did not find any helpfull information on this subject . ThankYou to any one who can help !!!

ALL 3 cylinder Chrysler engines use the same piston, 3.3125 bore. So yes, you can swap. You can even use pistons out of the 105 and 125 HP engines. In fact, ALL later Chrysler engines from the 20 HP on up use the same connecting rods.

Can we bottle frank's blood for future reference please, plarry I had a 1980 75hp skier, what a great outboard, if you need any help pm me or even better Frank cause he is the GURU.
