Hi everyone, i just sign up because i was reading on the forums for a long time, but now i cannot find the right answer to my question so that's why i finally signed up,

I just broke my mercruiser revolution 4 blade 14 5/8 dia, 19 pitch prop .. ive searched on local used ones and there's no 4 blades prop for sale with the same specs i have, my question is, anyone can give me the closest equivalence on specs with 3 and 5 blades props as mine have? I loved the way my boat react with this one, and that's why i want something similar, for infos the boat is a rinker captiva 4.3mpi with a alpha one 1.62 ratio

Thanks a lot!

Are you trying to find a prop that is the same exact diameter and pitch? Or are you looking for more subtle design features of the rev 4?

the prob has too much damage to be repaired, a new one is 800$ .. on top pf this i have to buy a new lower drive because the fin is broken and my shaft is bent.. so that's why i'm trying to save some $$

no such thing as too much damage to be repaired. I had a complete blade missing, and half of a second blade and it cost me $96 at General Propeller in Bradenton. (no affiliation other than a customer)

and a new revolution 4 19P for your merc is about $509.50 (multiple sites) a SOLAS 4 blade is under $350

You have to realize that the guys here are volunteers some well acquainted with prop technology but not many including myself that can compare
prop technology successfully and guarantee identical results.
While a Rinker fan probably knows exactly what a Rinker Captiva is for me its like my expecting you to know what my Crestliner Voyager is.
Details of your boat and its lightly loaded wot rpm and gps speed would help. What has the prop done for you that you like?
A person can look up various props and find terms like rake, pitch, cup, chopper, hole shot, bow lift, stern lift.slip
ventilation,cavitation,grip etc.
Someone should be around that can tell you what props "Should" perform in a similar way.
I don't think too many will use terms like "will" do this or that or quote exact figures.
This is an opportunity to up grade your performance But you may have to bite the bullet.
You should be able to find a dealer that will let you try props And may be able to suggest a better this or that based on your complete information.
There are probably dealers near you or some do mail order.
As far as actual dimensions; Diameter is a secondary consideration but avoid extreme differences.
Very generally you may observe as pitch goes up diameter often goes down,as you add blades diameter may go down
and viceversa.
