I have some Emeril All Clad which are great pots but my goto pots pans are Circulon Infinite hard anodized. I just don't like the cleaning aspect of the plain stainless. http://www.amazon.com/Circulon-Infin...inite+cookware
I have an induction cook top so I have a more limited selection of what I can use.
I have some cheaper "stainless" pot/pans at my vacation rental and they are just OK. Problem is heat distribution in those cheaper stainless pots. They may look good but they suck to cook with.
The best thing to clean good quality stainless is a cleanser called "Bartenders Friend" it is the stuff that all of the restaurants and bars use for their stainless items. My wife won't let me close to her pans if I pick something else up.
I love it when a plan comes together. Now you will just have to pick up a stainless colander for draining the pasta and you will be good to go, we picked ours up at Bed, Bath and Beyond for about $10, matches the pots and pans perfectly and so much better than the 20 year old plastic colander we had for draining the pasta.
