Want to replace my 15 gallon gas tank with a 25 gallon gas tank on my Sea Nymph gls 195. Would just feel safer on the pond with a little more fuel

Would anybody know where I could buy one, I haven't been able to find a replacement that would fit yet. Any help would be appreciated...
LN: 25+/-gal gas tanks are wide available for sale online, Iboats offers them:
24 Gallon Permanent Topside Fuel Tank, 29.25L X 19"W X 12.25"H - Moeller

Not sure what type of tank you need and or the dimensions.

You can always toss a 6 gal portable tank in for a reserve to get you back to the dock. Way less headache and cost.

I have been filling up a 6 gallon portable tank and fueling up while on the lake but have been told that it is illegal?? I definitely would not go through the headache, but like to play by the rules. not sure anybody on the forum would know about the law concerning fueling the boat while on the lake.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... If ya don't spill any fuel, what's the problem,....

Have ya looked to see if ya got space for a 10 gallon bigger tank,..??

Ya gotta figure out where yer gonna put it, to see what size will fit,....

You can actually secure the add'l size tank to the deck/removable and if needed just swap feed from one to the other if you get low. Then there is NO refill per say just an add'l tank. Whatever size you want. Do consider ballast and put 1 on either side hence 2 tanks.

Ok...here it is. I'm putting in a new floor so I have the tank exposed already and attached a pic. It's 60" Long, 22" Wide, about 6"-7" deep in the middle, and 3" deep on the sides (belly tank). It is welded on each ends with brackets and sits in an aluminum "cradle" below deck. I know... "all" I have to do is cut this tank out, slide n weld in new tank and reconnect lines. Thats a big project for me

I will try to look into the laws on IN, MI, and IL waters about fueling from a portable gas tank while on the water but dont have high hopes about that. If I stumbled across an affordable larger tank I would take the project on for sure but a new tank i believe is $400+! I could fit a tank that has same width and height that is up to 80" long.

Hi, I was wondering how much it would take to replace the fuel line from the fuel tank to my 1995 Johnson 150hp motor that's attached to my 1995 GLS 195. I have a lot more questions about this remarkable boat and hope I can find the answers here. Thanks

reholmans, you should post up your own thread so people can help you better rather than jumping on someone else thread hoping for the best.
