I have a 1989 Nissan fiberglass tri haul bass boat. 15' long and 22" tall sides. The boat seems to be heavy to me. Some say it maybe water log but it has no foam in the boat and it's a small slim boat. Are they all this heavy.

It's possible that the wood (stringers, sole, etc.) is waterlogged. Is it gettin' up on plane okay? If you tilt it up on the trailer with the plug out, does water drip out the stern?

No water drips out unless it just comes out the water. To be honest I don't think it has stringers.

"are they all this heavy?".... no clue as we have no idea how heavy yours is... if you weigh it we may be able to help
"tri haul".... it's a triHULL.. no such thing as a tri haul

no stringers... maybe but unlikely... snap us some pictures.

A Tri-"Haul" is a Tri-"Hull" that is so heavy that it take Three Men on the Winch to Haul it back on the trailer. :D

Any boat under 20 ft. is required by law to be unsinkable.
Fiberglass sinks, so there will be some form of flotation on-board, usually foam, to keep it afloat.
Yes! It very well may swamp and roll upside down! But it won't sink to the bottom.

Don't think Nissan ever made a boat. Could be wrong since Nissan is in the HIN database though. Possibly doubting the age, as there weren't many small tri-hulls being made by 1989. Most date to before that.

Anyway, pics!

Stringers don't have a lot of volume so even if totally waterlogged, the water wouldn't add much weight at all.

Easy on the tri-haul punches y'all: Niceandeasy, "tri-haul" is a common misspelling of the actual term which is tri-hull (three V's on the front end of the boat).

I had a tri-hull yes it was heavy. It was waterlogged, but the guy that wanted it did not care. He said he would fix it up,then forgot to put the plug in,sank it. It went right to the bottom,in about 10 feet of water. He is fine, the boat was never seen again........
