Prop again

I have a 1996 proline 231 350 Mercruiser bravo 2 NO numbers on prop at all don't tell me on hub inside or stamped on side of prop I know where the numbers should be there not.i find the damaged one has a 19 stamped on it it seemed ok tached about 5200 wot I borrowed 1 that is stamped 21 I believe these are the pitch but who knows I taching 4200 at wot on the 21 so I'm not so sure as this seems like a big drop to me as you might know b2s are pricey and hard to borrow 1 anyone have a similar setup can give some insight I want to purchase stainless but until I get dialed in.....

Your WOT rpm should be between 4400-4800. and "IF" your tachometer is accurate (Most tach's are not accurate) it's tell me your dropping 1000 rpm with 2 degrees of pitch. The normal is 400 rpm per 2 degrees but this is for Bravo 1 and B4 props. That said 1000 rpm is still a bit much.

Have you tried to take your old damaged B2 prop to a prop shop? A prop shop can fix a prop like yours for a lot less then getting another one. Even if a blade is missing it can be replaced if its aluminum
