HI ALL! Finally getting back to the next phase of the rebuild on this. Looking for some further insite on replacing FOAM under the flooring. Someone had previously mentioned using 1/2 rigid foam from HD or Lowes. Any other info on this ? Should we also consider adding any expanding foam or anything like that? We are wrapping up flooring rebuild and Gluvit. Any help would be great.

This is how I did it on our Kingfisher. We used 3/4" rigid foam because that was the only size available in our area. Larger sizes are made and might be available to you.

Did a much smaller boat, stacking on edge as well. You don't need to glue the pieces together, and when you put it in place, you'll find there will be a small gap at the bottom which will let water flow into the bilge.
