Well I have searched and searched....

I'm looking at a 93 wellcraft 18sx with the 2.3l. There selling due to a baby on the way. It's in very nice shape, with the exception that the last trip out it is running warmer than normal (just above 200). The engine circulation pump is slightly dripping at the weep hole. But this is making me think raw water pump or heat exchanger. I can't seem to nail down exactly what parts to look for. Does anybody have part numbers or know what the model number of the motor is? Also who manufacturers the motor? This is going to be a family boat, little cruising, tubing, fishing.....

Thanks everybody!

Well I bought it. Good price for a decent boat. I have the seawater pump parts on the way. Just going to change that, the engine oil, lube up the bearings, change the prop (got dragged on the ramp), get it waxed up and cleaned up. And put a transmission in the truck, 240k miles finally had enough.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard Jake,..... That motor is Volvo's own creation,.....

Good luck with it,.....

I believe it's the B20 or something like that, in the Volvo cars,....

I got the sea water pump apps apart, not much left of the impeller. So the that, lube and oil change and finish waxing and cleaning hopefully it will be in the water this weekend

I got it out on the water this weekend. It runs fairly good, but still running a bit warmer than it should. I am starting to think the exhaust manifold is probably plugged up, so a new one is on the way. I am going to flush the closed system and replace the tstat just to make sure. It was dieseling on shutdown, and took a couple throttle pumps to start hot. So I am thinking between being a bit hot and potentially an unhappy carb its causing that. It has been seafoamed and filled with 93 octane fuel. On to this weeks project!
