Volvo Penta SP-CD u-joint part numbers

I think I need to replace the u joints in my stern drive. I'm trying to run down the part numbers so I can get them ordered up before I tear it down. I have found the Volvo ones for $75 each. Does anybody have a Spicer, precision gear,...... Cross number? This should be a $20-30 piece not $75 each.

Have a look up in the Adults only section at the top of the forum, the late Don S posted cross references to most of the "U" joints.

There is NO cross reference for a SP-C (No such thing as a SP-CD). Nothing and I mean nothing in a spicer, precision, etc will work. Only one cross reference will be close. HARD to press in and when you get it in the clips will not fit. You have to grind them down.

Now the older pre- C drive, there are MANY cross reference U/J's and they can be picked up for $15

Thanks! I ordered some from here, I think there sierras. I would rebuild the assembly before having to force stuff together. I guess since it's kinda the end of the sp series there is not as much support for it. Hopefully the ones coming are the right ones.

I want to wait till the end of the season, but we will see if the hard cornering vibration increases
