Do you have a battery switch which looks something like this

Need to pick up a cheap volt meter to check readings

No battery switch. It just has a single battery. I've tried 2 different batteries though

There is a 20amp fuse or breaker which feeds the ignition switch. This can be a single fuse behind the dash with a wire coming out each side. You also have a red push button breaker on the engine, press it to see if it has been tripped. Your going to need a volt meter.

Need to measure battery voltage from the battery, to the starter, then the breaker and to the ignition switch

Ok
Thank you AllDodge
I have a volt meter and will check all of that tonight.
Voltage from the battery to starter was 12.4 last night. but wouldn't even try to do anything and everything on dash was dead.

Ended up being the negative battery cable. Was broken and not make a good connection at the clamp
