No power on Johnson VRO 110

[Astro.166v]

I have no power on my starter or tilt trim my main fuse isn't blown, I have a new starter, circuit breaker at the battery is good, 12.3 volts on battery, I also have two random wires near my starter at the main harness. Will post pic.

Also is the bottom wire on the front of the starter solenoid supposed to be grounded to the powerhead? *shown in center of pic*

Update* everything is showing 0.6 volts grounds, starter etc. Anyone have any ideas????

Usually those two knife connectors connect the overheat sensor in each head to the main wiring harness. Something is wrong with the fuse case. It seems to be open. If you use the factory 20 amp fuse, it's a little guy. Fits inside the fuse holder and the case will close completely. Yours it not closed. Perhaps you are using one of the standard (long) automotive glass fuses. I'd get the correct fuse: 510884

No it beside with a knife blade type curl in it.

Thats the fuse I have its only about 1/2" or so long. But I'm not even getting 12 volts up my main battery cable. I can't even jump start with jumper cables directly on my battery. I will post better pics of the wiring maybe you can see something I'm missing

Thank you. That's one wire out of the way lol now if I can figure why I can't get voltage up to the solenoid I will be good and like stated before even with a direct connection it still does nothing starter never clicks etc.

Do a test. Jump your starter direct from a known strong battery with a set of automotive jumper cables. If the starter cranks normally, the starter is ok. Could be the start solenoid is bad. You may not be getting any power thru the start solenoid. If the contacts inside that solenoid get burned (normal with age) it won't transfer power enough to crank the starter.

Yes I can can jump solenoid etc. My problem is I have no voltage incoming from my battery like bad cable etc but cables battery starter all new within last 6 months

How and where did you test it?

You need to be very descriptive if you want to get answers.

IE, I put the red lead from my meter on the large solenoid terminal that is supplied by the battery, I put the black lead of my meter on a clean bare part of the block, I get no Voltage showing. (With information like that we can help you in a heartbeat)

You see that means nothing to us, jump from where to where as there are a couple of options and what happened when you did "jump solenoid etc."

I see the red cable goes correctly to the bottom terminal of the starter solenoid. I trust the black lead from the battery goes to a stud on the side of the block, close to the same solenoid? If you measure voltage between the two, it should read 12.6 volts?

That twin cable (we call it figure 8 down here, not sure what you call it) looks like the cable to the oil bottle level switch?
Still all guess work at the moment.
