I need help.
I have an Interphase DC-500 Fishfinder.I removed the back cover and disconnected the 4 jack. One has 5 wires, the second one has 3 wires.

My problem is that I do not know where to connect the other 2 jacks with 2 wires each.

One is connected to the 3 pin cover connector and the other one is connected to the 2 pin cover connector.
See attached picture.

Can any one tell me which one connects to the jack labled "A" on the picture and wich one connects to the jack labeled "B".

Do the wires from the left-hand jack even reach point A?

Pretty obvious that the connect on the left is he DC input which makes the other connector for NMEA.

"Connection B" is located in the middle of a bunch of power conditioning components. Exactly where one would look to terminate a power connection.

Connection A is off to the side. Pretty typical for a NMEA connector location.

No NEMA on that unit. It is close to 25 years old. Both of those are for the potentiometers on the front panel. One knob is for contrast and the other is gain. Just plug them in and if their function is reversed, swap them.

I used to own that exact unit. Trust me...you can pick up something new now for $50 that is better than that one.

My mistake. I actually had the Loran hooked up to mine.

BTW, it's "You're right"...not "Your right". :)

And I think you are correct for where the connectors do go. I thought that was the front panel and it's actually the back..
