Yes I ordered from iboats and yes marketing and management should know that westland and iboats dont meet up to anybodys standard of customer service.

In post #14 I commented about having the same problem, but I also didn't say who. Well, it WAS also IBoats and Westland. In fact, the outcome was what started my association with this Forum.

I didn't want to post a negative comment about IBoats since they are our sponsor, but mostly because I thought they handled the problem quite well. It was sent back for a full refund and there was no hassle. IBoats did what they should do, and remember, it wasn't their fault in the first place.

I see that IBoats now carries TaylorMade, which is the brand I switched to and have been very happy with that purchase ever since.

Funny, of the 2 purchases I've made with iboats the Westland cover I bought for my last boat was the excellent transaction. It was the order for a few basic items that was a problem.

Ive purchased many parts over the years from iboats and have recomended them a lot.

They fell way short on customer service this time. Seriously the person I was dealing with went on vacation and just blew me off after doing absolutely nothing!

Having never even contacted Westland to let them know there was an issue.

Another person had to get someone else to go into the first persons (who claims to be a mgr) email to find out who I am.

Then when they come back from vacation they didnt do the exchange at all. Just no we refunded your money, thought thats what you wanted. Never mind emails, phone messages of me asking to please help me get the right cover.

No iboats was a joke and I have zero confidence they can handle the transaction correctly, so why try again.

So the company has served you well many times but one employee was more concerned with an upcoming vacation than your issue and did you wrong so now the whole company is a joke....

NSBCraig, Admin is contacting customer service today looking for answers....... Try not to let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch. There was probably a miscommunication amongst customer service....... Admin is on it.......

Edit: Closed... Nothing more needs to be said since the issue has been looked into and addressed .....
