Looking for pricing info.

I bought a 2006 roughneck 1652with a 2006 mercury 4 stroke long shaft with electric start. the original owner used the boat 3-4 time for trips less than a miles, but had it dealer serviced every year. Looks like new. I like the motor but need more power for my boat. I would like to sell it for a fair price to help recoup my expense of buying a new motor. this one doesn't have a scratch anywhere on it, fires right up every time. I don't know a lot about value so I am just looking for suggested values. I am in central Oklahoma if that matters. Anyhow thanks for the suggestion and any help.

to clarify I am not trying to sell my motor, I am just considering selling it locally just looking for suggestions on where to price it when I do decide to replace it with a bigger motor.

look locally on craigslist and ebay to get your geographical price. we dont know what you got, or where you live

Sorry Its a 2006 9.9 electric start 4 stroke. and I live in central Oklahoma like I said in the original post. Been looking around on craigslist and ebay but haven't found anything remotely similar to mine.

motor new is about $1800-2500 on fleabay (depending on seller), assume half that and go down from there.

here is a google search. looks like prices for the 2004-2007 are in the 800-1000 range

I checked locally and found these are $2800 new so I went ahead and put it up for sale priced accordingly. Thanks anyway.

Thanks I looked at them. Most are beat to heck motors at that price. Anything even close to mine condition and hours wise at closer to $2000 so I priced mine under that.
