bay water boat

I could not locate the access panel for the fuel sending unit on my bay water boat ,the model is 1630 Scrambler build in 2009.I found the bay water web page,they would not respond to my email,suggested to call their rep,did not provide a number.

Fuel gauge sending unit will be mounted top of the fuel tank... You might have to disconnect the fuel fill hose and move the tank to access it.

You can always find the tank by following the fuel lines

They don't always put access panels to allow easy maintenance...
It would be nice to make the engineers do some repair work so they can see what they are putting us through.

Some Corvettes you have to pull the engine to change a spark plug. Many years of Ford Expedition and pickups you have to drop the fuel tank to get at the fuel gauge sender and fuel pump.

I find it amazing the manufacturer would not provide the information or a number of a dealer.

I guess your right, I once asked the manufacturer a question about winterizing the motor and they did not know.. :confused:
