I've got a 1977 OMC Raven 190. I just put a trim pump on it . The service manual that I have says to use OMC Premium Blend Gearcase Lube but I haven't been able to find it. Is there a substitute that I can use instead that will work? I'm just getting it put back together and would hate to kill it already.
Thanks

I would suggest 75W90 synthetic gear lube, on syn blend. Mobil one makes a good one, or use the Merc one

Whatever you use in your upper unit will work in your trim pump.

As you likely know, the lower unit has to be type C.
