Just went out and started my little outboard for the fist time this year. Same thing happened as the last time that I took it out last year. I fogged the cylinders before start up. Same as I did last winter before I put it up. I used some starting fluid and the second pull it started right up. Then after a couple minutes with every pump of the bolb gas streamed out of the carb into the airbox. Is the float stuck? Any carb guys out there?

Why are you pumping the bulb after a couple of minutes?

The bulb is used to fill the carb before starting. If your fuel pump is working than you dont need to pump the bulb. When I go out I pump the bulb until firm before I start the motor and that is good enough for the rest of my day.

If fuel is flooding from the carb into the air box either the float has stuck or the valve is not seating properly.

As others have said you should only need to pump the bulb to fill the carb bowl initially. Thereafter the fuel pump should keep it full. If it won't run without constantly pumping the bulb your fuel pump is not working or you have an air leaking into the fuel line, possibly at the connector if the O ring is worn or damaged
