The COE lakes I boat on in the Sunny South have a mess of loaner PFD's at the COE ramps, too. Can't recall GADNR providing loaners at their ramps.

I spent last weekend across from Harrison and went there for ice cream.

Cool. They still got the hippo ? Spent a weekend out there on dads boat with my first wife before the oldest was born so that was about 27 years ago.

I haven't seen any hippo. Last year was the first year I started going out there. My girlfriend's parents slip there pontoon in CDA so we go out to join them and stay overnight at the boat in only camp ground.

We tied up to the dock for our overnight and at the ice cream joint they had a hippo statue inside.

They just recently went through an owner change and remodel. The scoops are still HUGE though.
