I have a 2001 Mercruiser 5.0 EFI engine # 0M042851. When cold, it starts without any problems. The problem is occasionally, after running the engine until warm, it will not restart. It is turning over and getting fuel, because I can smell fumes but it appears it is not getting fire. After letting it sit overnight, it will start as usual. I am thinking this may be the coil or ignition sensor and looking for opinions.
