I have an Evinrude 110 VRO and need to order a Carburator Kit and Thermostat. Can anyone tell me which kit I need to purchase? or the part numbers? I have no idea how to look these up.

Can anyone advise?

This motor has been sitting for years. I've been. Working through bugs. I put it in the water for the first time time and got it up on plane and it was doing well. Then suddenly it stopped and ever since it will not plane out. Motor sounds like it's starving for fuel. Fuel pressure is fine. I'm assuming the high speed jet got clogged up. Runs fine at slows speeds just not when I put the hammer to it.

You can look up the factory exploded parts diagram at the factory ebsite: epc.brp.com. Once you get into the website, look up your model by hp. The carb kit assy and thermostat ass are shown

That would be an 87 model---------30 years old so a compression test is a must do on that !

Starboard Bank are both 85psi, both on the port bank are 75 psi.

I just found out today that the boat had the engine rebuilt about five years ago. It had 12~15 hours on the rebuild before it was stored.

Those numbers at very low, but gauges are known for not being very accurate, so at least they're close.

If the gauge is accurate you have some problems that can not be fixed with a carburetor kit.----------Remove a bypass cover ( 6 screws ) on one of the low cylinders to have a look at piston / rings.------Costs just pennies for a new gasket.

I am finally getting back to working on my boat. In the mean time, I had to install and engine in my truck! 302K miles, I guess pulling the boat gave it a heart attack. In abother post I had detected a water leak which was from my themostat. Now, I have detected that my left bank does not have spark. I assme this is what is causing this boat to run so bad. If you recall, I initially had it running fine. However, It did die on me. I'm assuming that the water leak may have messed up a power pack. Not really sure.

If that is not the case. Does anyone have any recomendations on the attacking the power packs?
