1989 Thompson Daytona 310 no power

I'm new to boating got this boat had one battery in it and it did not start while looking in the engine compartment I noticed that it was missing a battery so bought a battery and connected it, but I'm still not getting any power to anything on the boat.

With two batteries, you may have a battery selector switch. If you do, switch it to 1 or 2 to connect the battery to the motor. Here are a bunch of them to see what they look like;

I did try and switch from batt one to batt 2 then I switched to both batt and still no power not even a click noise at the starter

Check for power with a meter. I'm not sure if the ignition switch switch is fused but a meter will allow you to start eliminating some stuff. Start at the battery and verify voltage to the ignition switch. Let us know what turns up.
