Bow Lifting Prop

I have a polar kraft 175 alum.with a 90 mercury 2 stroke and I cant get the bow up ive tried a 13.25/21 pitch and a 13.75/23 pitch wot with 21 5600 34mphwith 23 5250at 37mph ive got its wt located where it should be and I know it should run a lot better sons got a g3 with a 90 runs 52 and holds bow up from the git go

Raising the bow is not going to give you 15 mph. You either have a lot of dead weight in the boat(get rid of wife, kids, mother in law), a hull with a hook, or your engine and setup are not up to snuff. What kind of props are you, and your son using?

Gee, 52MPH with a 90HP motor on a 17 footer is real high performance. Not many hulls can get there with that power.

no hook in bottom 23 pitch is a turning point 21 is a Michigan wheel vortex a anchor and a 10 lb.tackel box is all the extra weight in front half of boat ive been boating for many years and though I knowed how to set up a boat but this one has whooped me

Can't get the bow up to make the transition to get on plane is a bent hull or bad engine angle.

Raise the engine a notch. Should be better if not cured.

Raising the engine on the transom will make it harder to raise the bow as leverage is reduced.

As mentioned, how one boat responses to power, trim engine height, propeller, and a host of other variables, does not mean another will do the same. Comparing a tin boat to a glass boat is an Apples to Oranges exercise
