Hi guys looking for some advice I'm in the process of putting back on my intake manifold on my 1990 4.3 mercrusier. But, the new gasket keeps moving it won't sit properly when I put the manifold in place. This is very frustrating.
Does anybody know if i can use any type of adhesive to hold the gaskets in place ? what kind/ brand to use ?
Thanks al

a dab or ultra black in the corners where the head/block/china rail are if you are using the rubber china rail seals, or if you use a bead of black ultra vs the rubber seals, that will hold it too.

should have came with your felpro intake manifold gaskets

I wish it came with it lol. I have ultra black but it wasn't holding it up. I'll try again tomorrow .
Could I use high tack spray a gasket adhesive ?

Ayuh,..... I toss the end wall gaskets, 'n run a big bead of rtv across it,....

Set the intake gaskets, so the tips are into the rtv,....

Then let it skin over, not tacky anymore,... 1/2 hour maybe,..

After that, drop on the manifold, 'n bolt it down,...
