Ok great ....dont spent to much time or money until you have the title in your posession i'v seen a few people get boats with no title only to end up scrapping them

I have the Missouri bill of sale with this boat from the Missouri department of revenue automotive department. So it?s good to go as far as getting the title goes. It?s a full restoration project once again. The boat is a salvage boat.

I got my boat from rhode island and to sign over a boat title in that state you have to do it at a notary ....made it a real pain
I will be watching your build

It?s going to take a while before I actually start working on the boat due to the weather, but I?ll be posting some pics of items I buy for the boat till the weather gets nice out again. Thank you for following the build.

I bought mine in october 2016 and got it all gutted
Before the winter set in
So in the spring of this year i was ready to go
Over the winter i did get it registered and titled
And ordered supplies slowly to avoid "sticker shock"

Yeah that?s what I?m going to do. Next weekend when I get home I?m going to start the gutting process and go from there with it. I already got on amazon and ordered some 1708 30 feet of it. I ordered 2 rolls of that, and it cost me a bit over $40 which I didn?t think was to bad of a price. Had to order parts for the harley so figured throw that in the cart. Probably in January I?ll buy the lumber for the stringers and the transom then I?ll do the measurements and at least get it cut to go in the boat when it gets warm outside. I?m also going to buy the gauges, fuel tank, etc over the winter as well. That way as soon as it gets nice outside I have everything to put it together and hopefully a quick process. I?m also going to be doing utube restoration videos which should be fun to do. I already got the introduction to the boat video done.

The only thing left in my hull was the stringers
I figured i should leave them in until im ready to go so the hull dosent deform and when i did cut them
Out i did the 2 outer and then the center one
I did have the old transom out and i built the new one over the winter

You make a good point so the hill doesn?t deform. What I?ll probably do is remove the cap cut out the floor and place the cap back on the boat for the winter so it isn?t taking a lot of room in my yard. I really hate this being an outdoor project and not having a garage.
