Nope. Record the numbers from the drive, motor, transom assembly and keep them in a safe place. Good spot is with the title, or laminate them and keep them in the boat glove box.

Yes they do, Sometimes they are not readable, So I get all the numbers I can and record them for easier reference later. If I need a part, it's easy to look up instead of crawling around the boat every time.
