When I go to start it, it turns over once then nothing. The battery is brand new and fully charged. I accidentally had the kill switch out at first, plugged it in and it started right up. But I also had the battery charger hooked to it at the same time. Took it down to the boat ramp and same thing, turns over once then nothing. Went back home and hooked the battery charger to it and it starts right up. Can someone point me in the right direction? The battery is a 5 day old interstate battery. Where do I go from there?

thanks

When you say it turns over once, do you mean it cranks a short bot then stops and nothing?
Or it will crank over but just not start?

If it continues to crank but not start, try bypassing the kill switch
