i have a 1986 Chris craft Catalina 255. I can't get the hot water tank to work. I have water pressure, but no hot water. I'm not even sure if I have power to the hot water tank. I'm assuming I have to be plugged into shore power for this to work because there are no lines coming in from the engine. Any help out there? Thanks, Jerry

All the ones I've seen were plumbed into the motor for hot water when the motors runnin', or shore power at the dock,....

Howdy Jerry
With no hoses going to/from the motor, then yes it would need to be plugged into shore power. It will also need to have 120 VAC going to the water heater.

As Bondo mentioned, take some pics and post so we can see what your have
