Some background on the setup - I have a Lowrance HDS9 gen3 on the console and a HDS7 on the bow, these are connected via an ethernet cable.. the Xi5 bow mount is 24V and is connected to both sonars via NMEA2000 backbone cable. I have a total scan transducer mounted on the transom of the boat. Boat is aluminum.
The sonars are powered off their own auxiliary battery and all that wiring as well as the transducer cable is run on the right hand side of the boat. The 24v power cables and batteries are on the left hand side.
The problem is i'm getting a pile of interference when using the downscan... everything works great when i'm cruising around with the big motor, downscan is clear and detailed, new fishreveal is awesome BUT as soon as i put the Xi5 in and turn it on i basically loose everything. Get lots of streaks across the screen, loose bottom and no marking fish.
This only happens on the downscan, traditional sonar still works fine. I have checked all the connections and no issues being loose or corroded. Not sure what else to do.
