Can’t find water pump on upper gear case

its a omc cobra and no where can I find a diagram or anything on it open the back cover and there is no pump like every single webpage I seen says so.

Not hard to find, you sure you have a cobra?
Impeller is item 24

Yeah I’m 100% sure it’s a omc cobra. But no there isn’t one where it shows in that diagram

I used google and searched on "omc cobra parts" and came up with sights

could it be a OMC stringer drive? or does it have a engine mounted pump and a thru hull ?

Or maybe you have the 94-98 joint venture drive that will have an engine mounted impeller.

Is it Cobra or Cobra SX?
If it is SX, it is in on the side of the engine, nothing in the leg.

Welcome aboard!

All the questions can be answered easily if you just reveal your model number! (or post a picture)

"It's a omc Cobra" doesn't help much at all since during the Cobra years, OMC had 3 VERY DIFFERENT drives (and called them all "Cobra" or "King Cobra" etc....)!

Actually it really doesn't "suck".........If it's on the engine, it's likely an OMC (Volvo SX) and NOT a "Cobra"....

Model number?
