Give it all the water pressure you have. The muffs let any "extra" water out but the impeller will be able so use all of it in most situations. It is not recommended to go too high in the RPM's. Think about 1250 is the limit I have read. After that the hose can't provide enough water.
Hard to imagine running on muffs would cause that... have you tried running it out on the water to see if you get bilge water then, too? I'd be wondering about a loose clamp or a drain plug not fully closed.
Running on muffs won't cause water to get in the bilge unless you have a leak in the system somewhere. The impeller will supply more pressure than the hose ever would. Time to find your leak.
Thank u very much guys. Lastly...... A cracked block or blown free plug under pressure would spit out much mor what than a couple of drops running and after I power of wouldn't it? Every thing discribing water between fly wheel and motor is free plug or a crack block but this is such a minisqu leak it just doesn't seem like that
got a light sprinkle when I was working on it but a couple drops coming out of the flywheel area cause panic cuz most all reviews show that coming from core plug or cracked block even though it was just about a bottle cap of water spit out from flywheel compartment next day bout half a measuring cup of what in bilge
