Im working on getting this new to me boat back to great shape. I have some cracks around the ladder on my swim platform. Does this look like something I need to really get in and re-glass or could I get away with some epoxy to fill the cracks and re-gelcoat?

Thanks!

Can you post a picture that shows a bit more of the area around the photo above? I'd be concerned about some underlying structural problems, but without seeing where the picture above came from, it's hard to say.

I will get another picture when back on the boat. However the cracking is around the hatch where the swim ladder folds up. It seems like it was stress cracks caused by the screws that just got worse.

With the information provided I'd say it's a repair that would require fresh fiberglass, some resin, and some work. If there's stress on the area and you just fill in the cracks, it will likely crack open again.
