:welcome:

Looks OK to me . . . or course it would be better if we could see the stern of the boat instead of the bow.

If top end speed is not an issue and in pursuit to plane faster, prop engine right to run max wot revs range factory stated as currently loaded with deck weight evenly distributed and well trimmed.

I think you're fine in the video. You might drop to a 17 if you're going to pull a skier or something.

I started with a 21p going 48 at 4200rpms and now switched to a 19p going 46 at 4400 rpms. But still thinking about going down to a 17p.

Does she she look like she’s getting on plane fast enough?

It looks good to me. If you can get a trial prop it wouldn't hurt to try maximizing WOT and see how that impacts plane and speed. I went from a 21P, 3 blade, 4800 RPM, 55mph.... to a 18P, 4 blade, 4900, 53mph. Get on plane much quicker (from around 8/9 seconds to around 4) and got rid of my cavitation problem.

I was going to ask if you're trimming out correctly to get the RPMs up until I saw in the first run the bow start to porpoise so I'm thinking you are.

Don't know about the prop but that is some kooky water you run there.

Here there are houses along the shore but not an interstate, that would take some getting used to.

I'm thinking it was a look at this video, which is fine but it's been several days since he posted the video here without returning to his thread.
