called a rotating seal leak, can also be from loose input assembly. disassemble, inspect yoke for grooving, install new seal. presure test to 10 psi

Did you see lube coming out around the yoke? That is a single seal that holds vacuum, but releases pressure. So a little lube isn't unusual.

I don`t think so

I think you're right. I'm always confused with that seal, especially when replacing. Dislecia. Thinking l put mine in backwards during last winters seal job. My son used a 1/2 " of lube over the weekend. Bet I find it in the drive shaft bellows this winter. Garter spring inside Right?

I just thought pressure testing was a safe bet for no leaks.

I'M confused, he said he pressure tested it and it held. im dealing with the same issue. the drive was resealed in june but now has a bellows full of oil and a cup full in the drive. pressure test done and it holds at 15psi, 10 psi & 5 psi. rotating ytoke several times each time i check on it with no drop in pressure.
