Welcome aboard.

Got a photo? If they're on the shift lever, I would think trilt and trim. If they're on the console, it's kind of a guessing game.

Dunno' about yours, but on my old boat the lighter was always live. The accessory switch was a separate circuit.

1 is for the ejection seat, and the other the turbo boost. Kidding of course. Another vote for trim/tilt.

Cigarette lighter, betting is always live and only shuts off with the master switch in the engine compartment. Grab your multimeter and check it. That 2000 I bet is a previous gen throttle controller as the next gen came out somewhere in that time period. Would need a visual.

I agree with the others that it is probably trim and tilt. My 98 Stingray has a switch that tilts the out drive up or down when running and another that lifts it all the way up for trailering.

Hook up your muffs to the motor, start it up and push the buttons one at a time, you will probably hear a hydraulic lift working.
As for the cigarette lighter, plug something in like a cell phone charger and see if it works with the key on and off.

Why are a couple of buttons so hard to figure out. Push them and see what happens. Plug something into the accessory outlet and see if it is active. If so, flip all the switches you can find to OFF. It it is still live, it is live 100% unless a master is turned off (if there is one).

LOL.. you guys are a trip.. NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I PUSH THESE BUTTONS... This is the reason I am asking..

BTW.. Trim is on the throttle lever.. AND... no matter what button I push or WHAT position the key is in.... The lighter outlet does not work.. I thought most folks would have believed that a guy would had already performed these activities before asking?

Turn the key on and try them. For some reason Glastron likes to wire their boats so that the trailer button for the drive only works when the ignition is on. All the non-Glastron boats I've owned are wired so the trailer button works with the ignition off. Which is how it should be IMHO.

You do go by dumbfounded61 so you can understand why everyone assumed you didn't try them. The PO installed those just to get someone to waste a bunch of time trying to figure out what they do when they do nothing.

For the cigarette lighter, check the fuses. If you can crawl under the console, you may be able to trace its wires back to the fuse block and determine which fuse feeds it.

Ahhhh, you only THINK that nothing happens.
One activates the auto homing device that brings the boat back to the trailer.
And the other activates the grenade launcher. Whew ! Good thing it wasn't loaded.

Go over your equipment list. If everything is working, those switches don't do a thing. It's an 18 year old boat that's likely gone through a few owners. Nobody on earth knows how it may have been modified since new.

As far as your 12v outlet, check the fuse panel. If there are no blown fuses, time to get out the test light and do some troubleshooting.

At six posts to the forum, I can understand why you would think so. After you hit about 600 ... you might be surprised

Any sign there were auxiliary lights on the boat? Docking lights or LED cockpit lights, something like that. I'm assuming the bilge pump and blower are up on the console?

Not sure where you get that info from, but absolutely not true. The outdrive buttons work regardless of the key position or actually the key at all. No different than any other boat I have owned.

Your 2016 obviously isn't wired that way, his 2000 may or may not be. They may have changed that after Genmar bought Glastron and moved the manufacturing from Texas to MN around 1990.

no extra lights.. bilge and blower on dash. I will do some wire tracing to see where they go. Thanks
