Clogged gas tank?

I have a 83 Ranger 350v with a 150 merc blackmax vr4, dual gas tanks 12 gal. It left me stranded the other day on the water because it won’t hold gas in one tank. I tried to fill it up at the gas station and it only took 2 gallons (slow) started coming out the over fill. When that happens it all leaks out from the primer bulb hose connects to the gas tank. It has a bunch of perforated holes in the line like it supposed to be there but won’t let the new bulb I bought get hard since it’s just leaking gas everywhere. Any ideas on what could be clogging the tank, or why the boat won’t switch to the other tank?

there should not be any perforated holes. most likely the fuel line has failed internally

fuel leaks in a boat = explosions and you dead.

fix your fuel system before you ever think of using the boat again. you most likely need new lines

The liner in that hose has failed.....

OEM fuel lines in that boat are 36 years old. Three times the life expectancy of a fuel line.

If you are reluctant to sort out fuel / line / tanks on your boat.-----See a repair shop or invest in a parachute.

Just got 10ft Of Hose from bass pro to change out the two hoses going to the tanks. Do I need to change the fuel/water separator or could I just clean it out and reuse it?
