1990 Mercruiser 4.3l v6 seawater pump location

hi all
just bought my first boat a 1990 wellcraft Prima 2600
i want to change the impellers in the sea water pump and I am looking for instructions or preferably a video on the pump removal
i am ok replacing the impeller but want to know where it is located and if I can remove it myself
all help appreciated

If RWC I/O ,it`s in the lower unit.If FWC its on the engine If inboard its mounted on the engine

Thanks it is inboard I was looking for a bit more detail like a phot or video on how to remove the pump and exactly wher it is on the engine

All you need to do is google it. There will be tons of write ups along with videos that show a step by step process.

You said its a "inboard" but the 4.3 is normally not used with inboard applications. They are normally used with Gen 2 outdrives. With an outdrive you would have an I/O (inboard with outdrive). So if you have an outdrive then the impeller is inside the lower section of the drive

If you do have a external sea pump, then its located on the Starboard side down low

Easiest way to get actual real life answers here is to post serial numbers and drive type. Otherwise it is likely you'll be talking oranges and everyone else is tossing bananas and pineapples your way.
