454 mpi mag fuel rail

anybody have info on how to re-install a fuel rail on a 454 mpi mag. Having a heck of a time getting the fuel rail lined up with injectors and seated. There has got to be a trick

Patience and lubricant K-Y on the O rings for the injectors . Slow and gentle to seat then and then bolt the rail down. You may need a third hand too

I use silicone grease on the O rings. It's usually easier to put the injectors into the fuel rial first and then put the assembly into the intake manifold. There's a better taper going into the manifold than the rail.

Agree, just did this couple years ago. Use K-Y or such and install in the rail first, watch closly that the O rings don't pinch when going into the rail.

Choose your side, but install all the manifold side O rings in the manifold on one side, and install the other side manifold O rings on the injectors.

Now start the injectors without man O rings into the man and then tilt down the other side
