OK thanks
If fuel pressure is the problem then what could be causing it?

Depends on what the pressure is. If you going down below 2 psi, maybe a restriction, maybe a weak pump. If your not getting 3 at idle and/or 5 at cruise maybe weak pump

If pressure is good, then could be the carb is not passing enough fuel, for one reason or another.

Give us the numbers and we can figure it out.

I will get someone to help me determine the fuel pressure. I do know my choke isnt closing the air intake when cold but I dont know if this could cause a problem when the engine is at operating temperature which is when the problem mostly occurs .

This is after 5 minutes of running at my slip on a 90 degree day.

The choke is used to give the motor more fuel when cold. Yours does run and gets warmed up and still stays open, so that may be a starting issue, but not a running issue

Good question. I assumed it was condensation. Will try to check next time I start it up. Any advice on how to check ? If it is fuel would that be a problem?

Your not going to see water of any kind on the throttle plates unless your tank has water in it. Any dripping is gas leaking, and if it is leaking then the float is set to high or the needle valve is not closing off the gas. Would be open up the carb

So it couldnt have condensation in it ? It was a very humid day. When I gave the engine throttle the moisture went away but as soon as I let off the throttle it came back. I checked the water fuel separator and the gas looked fine.

Would it still run normal at speeds over 1500 rpm if it was leaking gas bad ? I did not see where the fluid was coming from. I just assumed it was humidity in the air.

There would come a point where the leaking fuel would come into equilibrium with needs of the motor. Sounds like 1500 rpm is that number
