How much is this trailer worth?

Just finished stripping a junk boat hull, and need to sell the trailer. Looks to be freshwater only, in very nice shape. Had been holding a 19' bowrider. Actually nicer than my current ride, but I prefer the rollers on my trailer and don't feel like going through the hassle of reregistering, etc. I'd like a quick sale, but don't know how much to list it for. No comps on CL locally, since they usually include a "free" boat (I already got rid of the hull). Only info I see on it is "Venture" brand, the boat was an '89.

I'd list it for $500. then be prepared for less. if you dont have the title... you might not get rid of it...

^^^ Same. Check Craigslist in your area to get an idea of local asking prices. It looks in decent shape. Assuming the wiring and hubs are good, $500 would be a buy.

It appears to be in good shape. The only rust I can see is the springs which is normal for any older trailer. Even all the U-bolts appear rust-free. Can't see the tires.

If you have the title or whatever paperwork your state issues, I might go a little higher on an asking price, maybe 650 and act offended if offers are in the 500 range. Then grab the cash! :D

No paperwork might mean a long wait to sell it. Is regging in VA costly and possible? A few bucks spent may mean more in your pocket.

No title. It isn't hard to title/reg in VA. I don't feel like doing it myself, and more importantly it's taking up space so I just want it gone. Yeah, it's in really nice shape. Def freshwater only. I put it up for $400, we'll see what happens. I got the hull for $500 for the engine, so really anything I get is lagniappe.

$300 to $500 is what it is worth around here right now, only because we are going into boating season, at the end of the summer going into Fall it would be less.

I have a similiar trailer, an 89 Eagle which was used for my 19 ftr that I'm getting rid of. Brand new tires with less then 20 miles on them. Think I'll ask $600, see what happens.

Ended up getting rid of it for $375 easily. Checked it out after I agreed to the sale, and turns out it was a 2005.
So the buyer got a hell of a deal...
