Looking at a 2018 Mako 214

I have been eyeballing a new Mako 214. After months of reading reviews it seems as though there was a period of poor quality and poor customer service. They offer a pretty good warranty now so I assume they have made some improvements. I would like to hear from anyone that owns one of these new Makos. Or if I should stay away from them what would you buy if you were in the market for a 21 foot CC. Thanks for your input.

Mako is a great boat!! I have owned one for the past 18 years and there are plenty of them in my area.Very good quality and a reasonable price for a quality boat.No issues of poor quality,customer service .....who knows.

I appreciate the response but what about the new ones? I know the older Makos are tried and true and it my just be the rumors on the inter webs but I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on a new one.

I would not hesitate for a second.Especially for the price point.anyone that complains about the quality does not own one.
