Captains call on my 99 350

Apologies in advance if this is the wrong section to post in.

I just purchased a 1999 crownline 225br, with a 350 mpi. she’s in perfect condition that I bought from it’s first owner..

So, I got it inspected and the only issue it had is one, if not both sides of the Corsa Diverters won’t work.. he told me Corsa came out with with upgrade kit..

His words on the ticket were ‘break free flapper, issue still exists with actuator/solenoid’ and ‘needs upgrade kit’

I can’t seem to find this ‘upgrade kit’. If anyone has some knowledge on this, could you help me out? Thanks!

I have the same diverters and the 4 wire solenoids were replaced with 3 wire type. As Scoflaw mentioned call Corsa and the kit is a new harness and solenoids

Excellent stuff. I have the same issue. One of my side exits opens off the switch. The other needs to be pulled open manually. It will stay open after that.
I’ll check how many wires I have tomorrow. Is it expensive?

Can I also ask. Do you guys still have some exhaust coming out when they are closed ? I have and plenty of water too. They never close completely.

I also doubt it’s expensive, the 3 wire solenoids go for $60-$100 a piece it looks like.. they’ll prolly get ya on the harness.

They do leak, just the nature of the beast. Before you go to CP and buy, do call Corsa, many just mark the price up more. I removed mine along with the muffler tips when I repowered and used turn downs

Just did, Corsa has the kit for $560. So safe to say, order it from cp.
