Piston Sleeve Replacement

Hello fellow boaters-

I have a 1981 35hp Evinrude with a bad sleeve.
It is correct to heat in oven, at temperature 475 to remove ?

With enough heat to melt the Aluminium the Sleeve will eventually be free

It would be far easier and cheaper to either bore your existing block or find another block.

The sleeve is cast into the block and is an integral part unlike a dirt bike engine or a deisel.

Find a set of piston and rings and send it all out to a shop if you intend to repair it.
