GLM Bravo Water Hose Kit No. 47230 Corrosion?

This water hose kit has a stainless steel end and not plastic end as instructions state. Of course SS is stronger but I am worried about long term eating away at SS. There is no bonding lug and a LOT of salt water will be going through it. Any suggestions?

would have gone plastic myself. I would think the aluminum the ss comes in contact with would be the weak link

That's what vendor sent me. The SS never contacts the aluminum gimbal assembly. It is compressed inside a rubber bushing.
