Been drying to work on the boat in the evenings this week. we have been getting about 2-4 inches of rain every night between 4 and 9

so..... we are headed to NOLA this weekend. we had vouchers because we were planned to go there for a friends birthday the weekend my father passed.....

however....needed to use the vouchers....,so headed to NOLA this weekend

Debauchery will begin with beignets at Cafe Du Mond about 8am NOLA time.......

Not a fan, I have been there for business I would never spend a $ of my own money to go. Bourbon street reeks of urine, vomit, and broken dreams.

Bourbon street at night is a little much for me, though it was cool to see it and eat some of the food. I'd really like to make it back there to see the WWII museum. It's supposed to be incredible.

Did the carriage tour, the ghost tour and saw the film locations for NCIS NOLA

Finally found corn bread at House of Blues

Did not make it to Frenchman..... That will be next time.....

Glade your see your having fun(I hope) and seeing other things there, It's a rich history, a lot to do, kind of bazar at times

Probably my favorite city in the country. Have a blast! If you happen to make it out of the city a bit, Restaurant Des Families in Jean Laffitte, LA is probably the best food I've ever had.

Anyone who goes to NOLA should absolutely see the WWII museum. It is incredible, it is a very moving experience.
