I went out on the lake and ran my 1982 e90tlcnb and I’m assuming the water pump quit pulling water and over heated. Now I replaced the water pump and went to start it. I have no fire to the plugs? What could it be? What should I checked. I’ve ordered power packs just haven’t got here.

If you are ok with the $$$ of just throwing parts at it, carry on. You might get lucky....or not. :)

After a SUSPECTED overheat step 1 in most of our opinions would be a compression test. Cost ~ $0
Any reason you think it overheated?

You have ordered power packs? Why more than one? Two of those are going to run over $300-.....and just as a guess?

To trouble shoot the spark issue, first double check all connections for cleanliness and tightness., wires for any sign of winter-rodents, any signs of heat damaged wires/insulation, and that ignition kill switch clip has not come loose. (seen it happen) ....that is a nice easy fix, even if I did feel stupid. :)
Then go to the CDI web site and follow their test procedure for your ignition components. That will lock down any actual issue with that system.

Cost - $0 so far .

Consider investing in an OEM manual for that motor. Usually available on eBay for LT $50-.

The warning horn did not sound and there is insulation melted on the power pack wires. Some wires are showing. And the impeller was really bad and the plastic housing was shot.

I have done a compression test and it’s good.

I would say you have to look over the wiring.----And find out why the warning horn did not sound.-----And remove the 4 bypass covers ( 6 wee bolts each ) to inspect pistons / rings.-----I would not spend another penny until you determine cylinder condition.----Compression test is a must , post your " good " numbers.----If you insist on running this motor when it starts, you should replace water diverters and head gaskets.-------All part of learning how to look after what was a fine motor.
