Mapping-Lowrance HDS9 Gen 3

Hi Guys,

Im just after some advice as I’m new to this side of boat electrics. I’ve recently bought a Lowrance HDS9 Gen 3 which I’ve fitted a structure scan transducer. Everything seems to work fine, apart from the charts. I only use the unit Inland Uk on the lower river Severn. The Chart picks up random lakes, all roads, the Bristol Chanel, and the sea however it won’t pick the river Severn. The only real reason I need to pick up the Severn is so that I can drop waypoints for fishing but this is hard when the river isn’t on the map. Do I need to buy a inland UK navionics card, or do I have another issue?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

What is the chart number your using?

What is your zoom set at?
